42 Individual Sessions To Expand Your Knowledge And Grow Your Skills

Peace Love And WordPress

In 2015 WordCamp Sacramento offered attendees 19 sessions to uplevel their WordPress game. Then in 2016, we moved to a larger venue, expanded to two tracks, and provided attendees with 31 different high-value sessions that inspired many and showed what’s possible with WordPress.

Now in 2017, we have again moved to a larger venue (one we won’t outgrow), expanded to three tracks of sessions, and are offering attendees 42 different educational sessions to choose from, PLUS an entire Beginner curriculum designed to teach new WordPress users how to use the software.

To say I’m excited about this event is an understatement! Once you check out the sessions, I know you’re going to be just as excited!

Networking

The “Hallway Track” is strong at WordCamp. Imagine being at a concert venue, wandering the concourse, and chatting up other fans as you’re in line for beverages and snacks… or meeting new people in the Grateful Dead’s famous parking lot scene, Shakedown Street. That’s what the Hallway Track is — WordCampers networking, mingling, talking, sharing, and getting to know each other in the hallway and around the awesome sponsor tables.

Our goal is to help you meet as many people as possible, and to do so in a meaningful way, so this year we’re hosting the first ever Speed Networking Session — and we’re doing it right before lunch so you can meet not of new people!

I’ll be sharing more details about this special session on the blog as the event gets closer so stay tuned!

Tickets On Sale Wednesday, June 14

WordCamp Sacramento tickets go on sale this Wednesday, June 14!

General Admission Tickets, with access to the entire two-day WordCamp Sacramento event, are only $40.00 thanks to our generous sponsors!

This year we’re offering a new WordCamp ticket — A Community Sponsor Ticket.

As you know, WordCamp can’t happen without the generosity of sponsors. From venue, audio/visual, and wifi costs, to catering and coffee, swag, signage and print materials, to tables and chairs, linens, snacks, registration supplies, and more, there is an enormous amount of cost involved to create, plan, and host the event — not to mention the pure time volunteered by the organizers. Raising funds is one of the hardest parts of this event.

The Community Sponsor Ticket is $150. It’s a way for you to give back to the local WordPress community, show your thanks, support WordCamp, and make it possible for us to continue to have a WordCamp Sacramento.

Here’s how Community Sponsors will be acknowledged:

  • You get everything included with a General Admission Ticket.
  • You get a thank you via social media and on the WordCamp blog.
  • You get a ticket to the exclusive Friday night kick-off dinner at Hot Italian, to network with speakers, sponsors, and organizers before the event. This is HUGE!
  • You get our undying gratitude and thanks.
