Mmmmm. Food. I love food.
But, as a food lover with a food allergy (dairy), there is nothing worse than getting to an event only to find that I can’t eat the food, especially when I’m hungry 🙁 So at WordCamp, we do our best to provide as many options as possible and I’m SO EXCITED about this year’s lunch because we’re bringing in food trucks!
If you’ve got a food allergy or a special dietary need like me, I also know that food at conferences can be stressful. That’s why we’ve got the WordCamp menus for each food truck ready for you to review in advance. Plus, choosing your lunch early, will help speed up the food lines and get everyone eating faster!
How It Works
When you register Saturday morning, you’ll receive a WordCamp Lunch Ticket along with your name badge, program, and other items. Then during lunch, you simply take the ticket to the food truck of your choice, select the meal of your choice, and stop by the beverage station to snag a drink.
The food trucks will be parked on the corner of 12th and L Streets, which means you’ll be enjoying lunch in Capital Park, with the California State Capital behind you. Enjoy your delicious meal, stretch your legs, and explore before heading back to the venue.
The walk from the venue to the food trucks is only two short blocks. We’ll have volunteers stationed along the route to direct you.

Squeeze Inn Food Truck

1/3 pound fresh ground beef served with our famous bubbling cheese-skirt with mustard, mayo, ketchup, pickle, tomato, onion and lettuce on a toasted and steamed sourdough sesame seed bun. - VeggieBurger

* Orders can be customized for your specific dietary needs, like removing cheese if you can’t eat dairy or skipping the bun.
