Why Is This Important?
I submitted this talk because of my experience with being the lead developer of a plugin the last three years that is currently active on 400,000+ websites. I think it’s important to understand the ramifications of developing software that is going to be used by possibly thousands of people (as opposed to client dev projects) because if you don’t, it can lead to failure quickly.
How Did You Discover WordPress?
Around 2008 I needed a blog for my Joomla website.
How Do You Use WordPress?
From 2010-2015 I built client websites and custom plugins on WordPress. Since then I have focused solely on the development of Beaver Builder and its family of products.
How Has WordPress Impacted You?
Aside from feeding my family, WordPress has opened the door for new relationships and professional growth as I’ve learned a lot from my peers in this community.
What Do You Do When Not Working?
I enjoy going to the gym and any sort of outdoor activity with family and friends.
