Why Is This Important?
I submitted this talk because using anything other than jQuery is sometimes difficult for me. I want to show others that there are many tasks that can be completed using vanilla JavaScript very easily, with performance benefits. I want to share some first steps in learning JavaScript deeply.
How Did You Discover WordPress?
I discovered WordPress after building hobby sites and sites for friends using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A friend and mentor started talking to me about WordPress, and I decided to check it out and I never looked back!
How Do You Use WordPress?
I do everything from theme development, plugin development, general maintenance, and even page builder customizations.
How Has WordPress Impacted You?
WordPress has changed my life. The WordPress community is extremely warm and welcoming . I now make a living doing something I love and never dread Monday morning.
What Do You Do When Not Working?
I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our two dogs, as well as cooking and playing music.
